Product Description
General instructions
Spectadur PB30MB grades are advanced compounds that provide improved impact properties and enhanced strength and stiffness values. The material is UV/AO stable.
Standard grades are based on 30 w.-% mechanically extracted (without the use of chemicals) rice husks, taken directly from local rice mills. Rice husk replaces 30% of virgin PP. Plants absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere as they grow. Using biomass to create products converts these ingredients into an efficient way to store carbon dioxide, thereby removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere more permanently.
Part wall thickness should be greater than 1.75 mm.
All Spectadur grades are delivered in natural speckled colors; they can be delivered to customer color specifications or mixed with any traditional masterbatch during part manufacturing.
