Butyl glycol
Butylglycol is an organic compound with the chemical formula C6H14O2. It is a colorless and transparent liquid, easily soluble in water. It is mainly used as a high-boiling point solvent for paints, especially nitrocellulose spray paints, quick-drying paints, varnishes, enamels, paint strippers, etc. It is also used as an inactive diluent for adhesives, metal cleaners, paint strippers, fiber wetting agents, pesticide dispersants, drug extractants, and resin plasticizers.
