Liquid nitrile rubber is a viscous liquid rubber developed on the basis of nitrile rubber. It is slightly yellow in color, transparent and odorless. Its functions are: reactive plasticizer, softener, and adhesive.

Scope of application.
Liquid nitrile can be widely used in thermoplastic elastomers such as PVC resin, SBS, ABS, and special rubbers such as nitrile rubber, acrylic rubber, fluororubber, hydrogenated nitrile rubber, and chlorinated nitrile rubber.
1. Plasticizer modifier for polyvinyl chloride resin (PVC). Liquid nitrile (LNBR) can replace DOP, DBP, DOA, DOS and solid plasticizers. Powdered nitrile rubber can also improve the cold resistance, heat resistance, light resistance, aging resistance, oil resistance of PVC, improve the resilience, impact resistance and surface molding effect of products, and improve the migration of plasticizers in products. It can be produced: wires, optical cables, and car dashboards. Car bumpers, plastic films, irrigation hoses, mining conveyor belts, shoemaking industry, brake pad industry. 2. Plasticizer Since liquid nitrile (LNBR) has good compatibility with other rubbers and is not easily extracted by solvents in rubber, it can be used as a non-extractable special plasticizer. When manufacturing printing rollers, using liquid nitrile rubber instead of black and white ointment or dioctyl grease as a softener can improve the processing performance, strength, elongation and resilience of rubber rollers and products, and can also improve the performance and printing quality of rubber rollers. 3. Adhesives Liquid nitrile (LNER) has good oil resistance and adhesion, as well as good fluidity. It can be made into adhesives with strong adhesion and oil resistance with phenolic resin, epoxy resin, etc. It has greater flexibility, elasticity and improved thermal decay. In epoxy resin modification, it improves the adhesion between resin and metal fiber. 4. Coatings Liquid nitrile (LNBR) can be used to make low-temperature coatings, anti-corrosion coatings, electrical insulation coatings, water-soluble circuits and electrophoretic coatings, etc., and has the advantages of toughness and impact resistance. 5. Application in solid rocket propellants In solid rocket propellants, liquid nitrile (LNBR) is used as an adhesive.
