Steam anthracite filter media for industrial sewage/low ash anthracite
Anthracite filter media is used as an additive in the steelmaking process. It is made of selected Taixi anthracite, with low ash, sulfur and phosphorus content, high heat production rate and high chemical activity.
The application of anthracite in sewage treatment:

Introduction of petroleum coke additives:
Petroleum coke is carbonized by petroleum coke calcination and purification. Appearance is round or prismatic, metallic, porous, and carbonaceous. The characteristics of petroleum coke are high carbon, low sulfur, and low ash content. It is an ideal carbon material and reaction intermediate in metallurgical chemical industry, machinery, electric power and other industries. Petroleum coke is a widely used recarburizer.
Convertor smelting petroleum coke increases carbon, and high carbon steel uses petroleum coke with less impurities as a carburizing agent. Top blowing converter smelting just requires high fixed carbon, low ash, volatile matter and impurities such as sulfur and phosphorus, and it is necessary to Dry and clean, the particle size of the carbon agent is moderate, the particle size is too large, it is easy to burn, and the surface is not easily absorbed by the molten steel after being added to the molten steel.
Petroleum coke is refined from crude oil by-products, crude oil distillation or vacuum distillation residues and oil pitch. It can be used as a raw material for the manufacture of petroleum coke, and then coke is obtained through oil coke. The production of petroleum coke is less than 5% of the crude oil used, and the content of impurities in petroleum coke is high, so it cannot be directly used as a carbon agent and must be calcined.
The calcination of petroleum coke is to remove sulfur, moisture and volatiles. The raw petroleum coke is calcined at 1200-1350°C to make it substantially pure carbon. The largest user of calcined petroleum coke is aluminium, 70% of which is used to make anodes that reduce bauxite. In the calcined petroleum coke produced in my country, the recarburizer used for cast iron accounts for about 6%.
The content of impurities in the raw oil coke is high and cannot be directly used as a carburizer. It must be calcined. The calcination of petroleum coke is to remove sulfur, moisture and volatile matter. Calcination of the raw petroleum coke at 1200-1350 °C can make it basically pure carbon. . Calcined petroleum coke is widely used in industry and can be used in steelmaking, ironmaking, general casting and other industries, and can also be used as castings for brake discs, crankshafts, brake pads, etc.
