Hydraulic Oil 68 is a hydraulic oil of exceptional quality and achievement, designed to meet the demand for environmentally friendly hydraulic oils. The product is based on synthetic, readily biodegradable esters. Carefully selected high performance additive package provides excellent antiwear and extreme pressure properties as well as good thermal stability and corrosion protection. Inherent strong oxidation resistance prevents sticking and droplet build-up at the highest temperatures. Due to the high natural VI and low pour point of the base fluid, the viscosity temperature behavior allows a very wide operating temperature range.

Hydraulic oil ISO 68 is recommended for use where accidental loss of fluid into the environment may occur or where contamination of surface waters should be avoided. Fields of application include industry, forestry and deep sea, and definitely for adaptable equipment. This can include decay baptism analysis plants, reservoirs, waterways, parklands, well drilling, machines in remote areas, dredgers, river locks and agricultural machinery, among others. On ships, applications can include bow thrusters, propeller systems and deck machinery.

ISO 68 hydraulic fluids are recommended where long service life and a wide variety of industrial hydraulic and circulation systems are required.

Grade 68 hydraulic oil is most commonly used in hydraulic systems with vane, piston, or gear pumps, especially at pressures in excess of 1000 psi. They can also be used to lubricate light duty reciprocating compressors.
