Product Description
Chemtex Alsta Hydrogel is a potassium polyacrylate based superabsorbent polymer used as a water retaining agent in drought-prone regions.
This superabsorbent hydrogel polymer, marketed under the trade name Alsta Hydrogel, has a water absorption capacity of up to 500-600 times its own weight, helps dry or rainfed agriculture retain water for longer, minimizing irrigationFrequency in drought-prone and/or rain-fed agricultural areas.
Alsta hydrogels are non-toxic, biodegradable agricultural hydrogel polymers that leave no residue around and last for over five years. This polymer is super absorbent and can quickly swell to a greater extent. It absorbs a lot of moisture and locks it in firmly. Superabsorbent polymers are also used in many other industries such as the cable industry, food industry and green industries including agriculture, horticulture, landscaping and forestry activities.
