The One-step Probe RT-qPCR Kit V2 is designed for quantitative PCR detection using RNA as a template, such as viral RNA. Using gene-specific primers (GSPs), reverse transcription and qPCR reactions are performed in a single tube, eliminating the need for additional tube opening/pipetting, significantly increasing assay throughput and reducing the risk of contamination. This kit introduces the dUTP/UDG system. The heat-labile UDG can rapidly degrade U-containing pollutants at room temperature. Thermolabile UDG is rapidly inactivated by reverse transcription at 55°C without affecting the efficiency and sensitivity of RT-qPCR. Thermostable reverse transcriptase is stable at 55°C. A hot-start antibody-modified fast DNA polymerase and an optimized buffer system ensure the One Step Probe RT-qPCR Kit V2 is extremely sensitive and specific. This kit is available as a convenient Master Mix. 2 × RT-qPCR Mix contains an optimized buffer system and dNTP/dUTP Mix for highly specific detection systems with fluorescently labeled probes, such as TaqMan®.
