SBS thermoplastic elastomer: it is a three-stage copolymer of styrene-butadiene-styrene,
Also known as thermoplastic styrene butadiene styrene block copolymer or thermoplastic, SBS for short. The material can flow after heating and is easy to process and shape. After cooling to room temperature, the polystyrene segments aggregate into glassy microdomains that serve as physical crosslinks for the polybutadiene segments, allowing the material to behave like rubber. So-called thermoplastic elastomers. According to different synthesis methods, SBS has a linear structure and a star structure.
Appearance: SBS is white or light yellow porous round or disc-shaped particles with a relative density of 0.92-0.95.
SBS has excellent tensile strength, elasticity and electrical properties, small permanent deformation and good flexibility
Bounce, surface friction. But SBS has poor aging resistance.
