Inflatable mandrel is also called bridge inflatable mandrel. The rubber inflatable mandrel is a cylindrical bag that expands and contracts. It is made of vulcanized rubber and fiber reinforced layers. It has high tensile strength, elasticity and airtightness. It is used to form cavities in concrete elements. When making a hollow part, it is placed in the middle and filled with compressed air. It is mainly used in the pouring and molding engineering of concrete pre-tensioning and post-tensioning beams of highway bridges. It is also used in culvert sewage works. The rubber airbag is a kind of stretchable inner mold of different shapes that is vulcanized by using the polymer properties of rubber and high-strength fiber cloth. After the airbag is filled with compressed air, it stretches and expands to meet the design requirements of its section. Inflation pressure and cross-sectional shape can be customized by buyers. It can also be removed from the cavity. It is easy to use, economical and durable, and can be reused many times. It is soft and can shrink fold and curl when not inflated. After inflation, it has enough strength to bear the pressure of concrete.
