What is LNG?

LNG is liquefied natural gas, a clear, colorless, non-toxic liquid that is formed when natural gas is cooled to -162ºC (-260ºF). This reduces the volume of natural gas by a factor of 600, making it easier to store and transport to energy-poor towns and cities overseas
