DG5412 is a modified organic of diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) with higher isocyanate functionality. It is mainly used to produce cold-cured high-resilience foam, which is suitable for furniture, toys, automobiles and other fields.

Precautions:

1DG5412 is easy to react with water to form insoluble urea compound and release carbon dioxide, resulting in high drum pressure and high viscosity. Therefore, during storage, keep the container sealed and dry, and fill it with dry nitrogen.

2 It is easy to crystallize when stored at a low temperature below 10°C to prevent freezing. When there is crystallization, heat it to 70-80°C as soon as possible to melt it, then stir it thoroughly, and use it after cooling. The melting temperature does not need to exceed 80°C.

3 Storage at high temperature will produce insoluble matter, resulting in high viscosity, so this product cannot be stored at high temperature.

4 If there are reddish-brown solid particles, use them after filtration, ensure that the packaging is sealed, and fill with dry nitrogen protection if conditions permit.

Security:

DG5412 has low inhalation and skin contact toxicity. Due to its low volatility, short-term exposure toxicity is minimal under normal conditions. However, DG5412 is still an isocyanate compound, moderately irritating to the eyes, slightly irritating to the skin, and causing skin irritation.

To avoid direct contact with skin and splash into eyes, handle with care and wear necessary protective equipment (gloves, goggles, protective clothing, etc.). Once it splashes into the eyes and contacts the skin, immediately rinse the eyes with plenty of running water and wash the skin with soap. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
