Product Description
Thermostable alpha-amylases are produced by submerged fermentation of Bacillus licheniformis followed by purification and formulation. The high temperature resistance of the enzyme makes it possible to liquefy and reduce the viscosity of starch while gelatinizing, bringing many benefits to starch sugar processing.
Mechanism and Product Standards
This product belongs to the hydrolase family and attacks the α-1.4 glycosidic bond in starch to produce dextrin, oligosaccharide and a small amount of glucose.
