New ultra-high strength protective UHMWPE fabric
Our ultra-high strength UHMWPE fabrics are market leaders in protective fabrics. Woven with UHMWPE (a fiber similar to Dyneema). UHMWPE is a special fiber that stops bullets, tethers space shuttles and armored helicopters.
This fabric is single layer, lightweight and not easy to break. Made from elastane, it's stretchy for freedom and comfort while you're riding, getting off the bike, or working. Your favorite cycling jeans and overalls are here.

Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Information
UHMWPE fibers are used in armor, especially personal armor, and sometimes as vehicle armor, cut-resistant gloves, bowstrings, climbing equipment, fishing line, fishing line for spearguns, high-performance sails, suspension lines on sports parachutes and paragliders , yacht rigging, kites and kite lines for kite sports. Spectra is also used as a line of high-end wakeboards. For personal armor, fibers are often aligned and bonded into sheets, which are then layered at different angles to give the resulting composite strength in all directions. The U.S. military's recently developed Intercept body armor, designed to provide arm and leg protection, is said to use a UHMWPE fabric.
