Advantages of graphite plates, boxes, boats, vessels, and crucibles in vacuum sintering furnaces (taking S-NdFeB graphite sintering plates as an example):
1. High temperature resistance: Graphite sintered plates can be used in vacuum or inert gas environments (≤3000°C) and can be used for a long time.
2. Good thermal shock resistance: Frequent entry and exit of the furnace, sudden temperature rise, quenching and rapid temperature rise will not cause cracking of the graphite sintered plate.
3. No deformation at high temperatures: Graphite has no solid to liquid transition process and has low CTE. No softening or deformation occurs at high temperatures. This can ensure that the sintered material does not change in shape and is dimensionally stable.
4. Excellent thermal conductivity: The thermal conductivity of graphite is 3-4 times that of steel. Graphite can also be used as a heater. The use of graphite sintering plates can shorten the sintering time and lower the sintering temperature than iron boxes. Thereby saving energy and reducing consumption, improving production efficiency, reducing production costs and improving economic benefits.
5. Chemical stability: The graphite sintered plate does not react chemically with the heated material in a vacuum or inert gas environment (≤3000°C), and does not agglomerate or penetrate.
6. According to feedback from multiple S-NdFeB magnetic material manufacturers, the use of graphite sintered plates will improve the (BH)m and Hcj of permanent magnet materials.
7. Durable: Each graphite sintered plate can be used for 1.5-2 years under normal working conditions without maintenance.
