Product Description
Thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) consists of a polyolefin phase (PP) and a dynamically cured EPDM phase, tightly dispersed in a PP matrix, with rubber-like properties and the advantages of thermoplastic processing technology. The final blend morphology always consists of cross-linked micron-sized elastomer particles dispersed in a polymer matrix. Due to strong mechanical shear and chemical cross-linking of the cross-linking agent, the rubber phase is cut into a large number of micron-sized particles. Cross-linked rubber particles are dispersed in a thermoplastic resin matrix within a continuous phase thermoplastic resin matrix.
