Features
HS40 series powdered nitrile rubber is a modifier for polymer materials such as phenolic resin. It can increase the bonding ability of the friction material system, and improve the oil resistance, high temperature resistance, impact resistance and wear resistance of friction products. Powdered nitrile rubber has the advantages of high dispersibility, easy operation, and fine particle size.

HS40 series products are powdered nitrile rubber with high Mooney viscosity, full cross-linking and high acrylonitrile content, which are produced by high-temperature polymerization reaction and direct condensation of self-generated release agent.
Advantage:
Powdered nitrile rubber has high compatibility with phenolic resin and forms a uniform mixing system. Due to the fine particles and good dispersion fluidity, it is a good moisture-proof friction material
PNBR acts as an organic friction modifier. Its functions and effects can be as follows:
1. Reduce the elastic modulus of the matrix, improve the fit with the friction pair, and obtain a high and stable friction coefficient.
2. In the rigid resin matrix, powdered nitrile rubber particles are mixed. Wear and tear on the product is reduced due to the soft elastomer particles dispersed in the composite matrix.
3. As an elastomer, powdered nitrile rubber has good toughening effect, which can improve the impact resistance of products.
4. Reduce product hardness and brake noise.
