PTFE plain elastic bearings - free sliding
Polytetrafluoroethylene sliding elastic bearing is a kind of elastic bearing pad, which is made by adhering a layer of polytetrafluoroethylene with a thickness of 1.5mm to 3mm on the surface of the laminated elastic bearing pad. Compared with the laminated elastomer bearing, a layer of polytetrafluoroethylene with low friction coefficient is added, so that the beam end can slide freely on the bearing surface, and the horizontal displacement is not restricted. PTFE sliding elastic bearings are suitable for bridges with medium and small loads and large displacements.
