HIPS is a modified polystyrene plastic, which is synthesized by polystyrene grafted with polybutyl rubber particles. It has high impact resistance, low water absorption, easy processing, coloring, painting and other properties, and is cost-effective. It also has broad process-flow and high mechanical strength. |

High impact polystyrene (HIPS), natural opaque pellets. Has high impact strength and toughness. It can be any color, has good formability, chemical corrosion resistance, and good electrical properties.
HIPS: It can be injection molded or extruded into various products, the injection temperature is 160-180 degrees, and the pressure is 70 MPa.
Advantages of improving the original HIPS:
The toughness of HIPS is about 4 times that of PS material. HIPS has high impact strength. Good mold release, coloring, low water absorption.
Application of original HIPS:
It is used to make casings for household appliances such as TVs and air conditioners; it is used for electronic components, office appliance casings, disposable packaging products, and automotive interiors.
