The largest specific use of HIPS is as packaging and disposable materials, especially food packaging materials and meal tableware. Such as: daily packaging containers, vending machines and filling cups, various covers, plates, bowls, etc. Disposable items such as cutlery, bottle caps, safety razors, pen holders, etc.
Advantages of HIPS
1. Excellent fluidity; 2. Good impact strength; 3. Easy coloring.
Selling Disadvantages1. The content of HIPS plastic in the rubber material bag is 15%, which interferes with its fluidity to a certain extent; 2. The cooling speed of HIPS plastic is very slow. In addition to having enough time to maintain pressure and speed, the mold must also have excellent heat exchange function , to reduce the shrinkage and shape change of the part after the mold.
