Product Description
Ceramic fiber textiles include ropes, belts, yarns and cloths. Ceramic fiber textiles are woven or braided from yarns composed of refractory ceramic fibers and approximately 20% organic fibers. Inserted material is reinforced into the yarn to increase the tensile strength of the fiber. Stainless steel inserts are available for maximum strength at elevated temperatures. Glass wool inserts are used in applications requiring electrical resistance, and ceramic fiber textiles have become available insulation materials for thermal gaskets and wraps, and their unique features and properties are gaining popularity in high temperature insulation.
