What is Timascus?
Titanium Damascus (timascus) is also known as Mokuti or TiMoku. It is made of different grades of titanium or titanium alloys. Generally, titanium damascus/titanium mascus/mocuti are processed from various materials (pure titanium or titanium alloy), through forging fusion (physical fusion), twisting, extrusion, straightening, cutting, polishing Lumps, bars, slabs and other processes. The blanks are heated or anodized, and finally show brilliant colors (red, yellow, blue, gold, orange, pink colors affected by temperature) and beautiful patterns. Since only the general direction of the pattern and the thickness of the layers can be controlled during processing, each Timascu piece is unique.

Different voltages or temperatures will produce different colors, heat the material, usually stop heating when red appears, the best colors end up being light or dark blue, red or purple and gold (orange).
