Product Description
Fiberglass tape is made from C-glass or E-glass woven fabric, then coated with acrylic copolymer liquid and adhesive. It is widely used in Exterior Insulation Finishing Systems (EIFS), waterproof roofing and stone reinforcement. Repair dryboard wall, drywall joints, wall cracks and other wall damage. how to use:
Easy and fast to use, no need for pre-plastering, no air bubbles. For covering or repairing joints, cracks and holes in walls, roofs, etc.
1. The walls must be clean and dry.
2. Center and tape the length of the connector and press firmly.
3. Apply a generous first coat of compound to the tape and through the mesh, making sure to completely fill the seam gap. When the seam is completely filled, use a drywall knife to wipe off excess compound, leaving enough to fill the seam gap. Let it dry completely, then lightly sand.
4. Apply a thin enough finish to produce a smooth finish.
5. The butted cuts do not have tapered edges. Therefore, special care must be taken to ensure the proper compounding required to increase the amount of edge feathering.
