BLUE MARLIN S.r.l. has been founded in 1996 with the purposeof producing and commercializing one of the typical Sardinianspecialities: the Bottarga (sa Buttariga).It consists of salted and dried mullet or tuna roe. It is producedand well appreciated al over the Mediterranean basin, it couldbe that the Arabs brought it to Sardinia during their conqueringvoyages; the Bottarga has been developing an increasinggastronomical and commercial interest either by the localpeople or by the many tourists and visitors that find our Island avalid destination where to go on holiday.BLUE MARLIN S.r.l. wants to offer highly selected products whichare marketed only after sever quality controls and traditionalageing processes. The plants are conforming to EuropeanCommunity standards and they are provided of the Ministry ofHealth Identity Number (N3Z9S).The presence for many years in the most importantinternational events and food shows has allowed our productsto reach foreign markets exponentially, allowing our bottargato be exported to all the States in the European Union, up tothe American and Asian continents.The BLUE MARLIN's Mullet Bottarga, which is commercializedwhit the "GARGIA D'ORO" trade-mark, is available whole andground, in vacuum packet bags or jags. Together with mullet roe or tuna,Blue Marlin also is specialized in the selection, production and marketingof other typical products of Sardinia such as Tuna Mosciame, whichconsists of tuna fillets Cured very first choice, or even the prized seaurchin roe (both Sardinian product and imported product).
