Talking about Chi Seng, everything started in 1916.Mr. Chen HongMao established a Chinese herbs company called Chen Chi-Seng Trading in Dadao Cheng Area. He died at a very young age, and Mr. Chen's wife Lin took care of the business and brought up 3 sons and 2 daughters on her own. In 1977, Chi-Seng Trading was officially changed to a limited joint-stock company called Chi-Seng Co., Ltd. The family-owned company led by the eldest son of the Chens set up the foundation for the future. In that very same year, the first factory was built in Xin Zhuang, Taipei County.In 2001, Chi-Seng introduced the frozen grinding technique into Taiwan. This special grinding system elevated the quality of grinding spices ever since. Furthermore, Chi-Seng established the first spices factory that meets GMP standards in Douliou, Yun Lin. Chi-Seng is known for providing hight quality spices to distributors and retail stores in Taiwan. Chi-Seng's famous spices brand " Flying Horse" has received public praise and acclaim in Taiwan.
