Our family takes olive oil production very seriously to continue the tradition inherited for 5 generations. Already in 1875 Paolo Polla and his son Nicolo began to grind the olives in the stone mill in the Ligurian village of Toirano, in northwest Italy. Our process is as simple as possible to preserve the natural taste and purity of the ingredients. We cold-press the best Italian olives and use only paper filters to produce our rich and fruity extra virgin olive oil. Thanks to its low acidity level (0,2-0,3%), this olive oil is ideal for your meat and fish dishes, as well as for soups and salads.Polla's extra virgin olive oil preserves all the nutritional values of the olive, particularly vitamins E, A, K and D, excellent antioxidants for the body.We are extremely proud to carry on this tradition and to promote the best products of our Liguria (sauces, preserved vegetables in our oil, pasta, and local specialties).
