ⅠPerformance and application areas  

IC-2012It is a liquid product for passivation treatment, suitable for chemical conversion coating process of aluminum and its alloys, and does not contain Cr+6. When mixed with water, it forms an amorphous inorganic coating on metal surfaces in dipping and spraying applications. The coating has the following functions:

* Good adhesion to paint coating and good corrosion resistance.

* Bare coating has strong corrosion resistance.

* The coating has a lower conductive resistance.

IC-2012 can be used in dipping or spraying process.

Dissolved in water.

Acidity Products

ⅢPreparation: 1000L, mix with deionized water.

Concentration: 5-8% (spraying) 10-15% (dipping)

After the components of the bath liquid react with the aluminum surface completely, rinse the excess surface with deionized water until the water conductivity on the surface of the workpiece is less than 25us/cm. Finally, dry the workpiece (5-20 minutes, 60~90℃) before painting. Gloves must be worn to remove marks from the workpiece after painting. The finished workpiece should be painted during the day.

IC-2012 is a fluorine-containing acid product. A splash accident or contact with skin or eyes can cause burns.

In case of accidental contact with skin, rinse immediately with water, then massage with 2.5% calcium gluconate gel for a few minutes. In case of splashing into eyes, rinse immediately with water, and then use 2% triethanolamine eye drops to seek medical attention.

It is recommended to wear gloves, protective glasses, protective clothing and safety shoes during operation.

Install showers and eyewashes near the workplace.

Do not use glass or silicone containers.

7. Storage

IC-2012 must be kept in its original airtight container and stored in a well-ventilated environment.

This product is sensitive to cold, it can still be used with heating and stirring after freezing without affecting the performance.

Stay away from alkaline products.

* Neutralize precipitated fluorine and metal salts with lime, PH is controlled at 6.5~9

* Let settling at the bottom.
