Product Description
Nutrizyme® LTAA (Low Temperature Alpha-Amylase) [EC 3.2.1.1] is produced by submerged fermentation of Bacillus subtilis followed by purification and formulation.
This product belongs to the family of hydrolase, which attacks the α-1.4 glycosidic bond in starch in a random and effective manner to generate dextrin, oligosaccharide and a small amount of glucose. Alpha-amylase acts faster than beta-amylase and is one of the major digestive enzymes with an optimum pH of 6.0.
