Thermostable phytase is a highly efficient 6-phytase. Feed ingredients contain a certain amount of phosphate. However, the phosphorus in plant phosphates is generally less digestible than the inorganic phosphorus added to the diet. TTX thermostable phytase greatly breaks down phosphate, releasing plant phosphorus and reducing feed costs and environmental impact.

Definition of activity: One unit of phytase activity (U) was defined as the amount of enzyme that released 1 µmol of inorganic phosphorus per minute from a 5.0 mmol/L sodium phytase solution at pH 5.5 and 37 °C.

Function
